
Undefeated Skyhawks Host Tournament This Weekend; Senior Day Set For Sunday

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin STUNT squad hosts its first of two 2026 tournaments this weekend as five teams convene upon Skyhawk Fieldhouse for nine total games on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15.
Doors will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday as reserved chairback seating is $15 with general admission seating at $10. UT Martin students with a valid school ID and children under five years old will receive free admission.
Joining the Skyhawks in this weekend's tournament is fellow Mid America West Conference rivals Missouri State and Northern Kentucky along with Central Methodist and Maryville. UT Martin will open the tournament against Central Methodist on Saturday at 10 a.m. before taking on Missouri State later that day at 2 p.m. Sunday's slate includes Skyhawk matchups against Northern Kentucky (12:30 p.m.) and Maryville (3:15 p.m.) with Senior Day festivities honoring Natalie King, Emmy Melton, Raegan Taylor and Emily Wilcher taking place at approximately 4:30 p.m.
UT Martin is 6-2 all-time at home, including a perfect 4-0 mark last season. This weekend marks the first home action of the season for the Skyhawks, who are off to an unbeaten start (6-0) following wins over Central Arkansas, Drury, Hiram, Tiffin, Purdue and Northern Kentucky. UT Martin has outscored its opponents by a whopping 161-53 margin as part of a school-record six-game winning streak.
The Skyhawks have received notable balanced scoring efforts all season as 30 different players have scored at least 21 points this spring. That includes 18 scorers above 40 points as Braylee Smith (86 points) leads the way. Addison Cary (72 points), Kira Butz (65), RyanBeth Goodman (65), Mia Henry (64), Emily Wood (64) and Makayla Elenbaas (61) have also emerged as top performers for UT Martin in 2026.
