BEFORE UTM: Joins the Skyhawks following a one-year stint at Auburn and an accomplished three-year career at Chattahoochee Valley Community College, where he played under head coach Hunter Vick and current UT Martin assistant coach Bill White…Was named Alabama Community College Conference Pitcher of the Year and a NJCAA All-American second team honoree in 2021 at CVCC…Helped Auburn go 43-22, advance to the NCAA College World Series and win a game in Omaha for the first time in 25 years, tying for fifth nationally in 2022 under head coach Butch Thompson…Armstrong went 3-1 with a save over 14 appearances (six starts), fanning 40 batters in 30.1 innings for an 11.87 strikeouts-per-nine-innings ratio…Went at least two innings in eight appearances, including a season-best 5.1 shutout
