2023: Was a revelation in his debut season as a Skyhawk, becoming just the seventh player in school history (and first shortstop) to nab All-Ohio Valley Conference first team accolades…Overcame a preseason facial injury to start the final 54 games of the season (all at shortstop)…Led the OVC with 21 doubles (second in school history), while ranking second in hits (80, fourth-most in program history), second in assists (144, ninth in Skyhawk history), third in at-bats (230, most in UT Martin history), fourth in batting average (.348), fourth in RBI’s (53, fourth in Skyhawk history), eighth in total bases (128, sixth in school history) and ninth in plate appearances (254)…Became the first UT Martin player to lead the OVC in hits (79) at the end of the regular season since All-American Bryant Jones in 2004…Tied a 36-year-old school record for most consecutive hits (eight, last four at-bats at Lindenwood on May 5 and first four at-bats against Alabama A&M on May 9)…Topped the OVC with 42 hits and 11 doubles in league action while ranking third with 32 RBI’s…Overall, the switch hitter slugged .557 with a .394 on-base percentage, scoring 42 runs…Belted seven of his nine home runs in OVC play, collecting a .375 batting average while striking out just seven times in 112 league at-bats…Hit safely in 32 out of the final 35 games of the spring…Boasted a team-high 23 multi-hit games, including seven 3-hit outings, a pair of four-hit performances and two 5-hit games…Went 5-for-5 with three RBI’s and a pair of runs scored in his UT Martin debut in the backend of the Feb. 18 doubleheader at Belmont…Also produced five hits (including a pair of doubles and a home run) with four RBI’s and a career-best four runs scored at Lindenwood on May 7…Delivered one of the best moments of the season on May 14 when his walkoff double in the bottom of the ninth gave the Skyhawks their first sweep over two-time defending OVC champion Southeast Missouri since 2006…Paced the team with 16 multi-RBI games, including a career-high five RBI’s (on three hits with a career-best four runs scored at Austin Peay on April 4…Hit .422 (27-of-64) during a 14-game hitting streak from March 18 through April 8…Also hit safely in 16 of the final 18 games down the stretch…Ripped multiple doubles on five separate occasions (four of which came from April 19 through May 14)…Slammed a pair of homers on May 5 at Lindenwood…Swiped a pair of stolen bases in the series opener against OVC foe Morehead State on April 28…Smoked left-handed pitchers to the tune of a team-best .404 batting average (23-for-57) while hitting .329 (57-of-173) against right-handers…Topped the squad in hitting with runners on base (.361, 44-for-122) and hitting with two outs (.387, 24-of-62)…Hit .364 (32-for-88) with runners in scoring position and .333 (36-of-208) with the bases empty…Joined teammate Mac Danford as the only Skyhawks to ever win OVC Player of the Week honors twice in a single season, accomplishing that feat on March 27 and May 15.
