2023: Saw playing time in eight games as a true freshman, making five starts (three in left field, one in right field and one at designated hitter)…Picked up his first career collegiate hit at Murray State on Feb. 21…Scored the first run of his collegiate career at Illinois on May 20…Was hit by a pitch in three of his eight games…Reached base safely in four consecutive contests spanning Feb. 19 through Feb. 26…Tallied a career-best four putouts at Samford on March 19.
BEFORE UTM: Graduated from Prattville High School, the same alma mater as current Skyhawk teammate Will Smith…Helped the Lions go 28-7 during his senior year, winning the area championship under head coach Kevin Hall…Earned Class 7A all-state accolades in back-to-back seasons (first team outfielder in 2022, second team designated hitter in 2021)…Was also named to the Large School All-Metro first team following his senior campaign…Was recognized as a 2022 Preseason All-American by Perfect Game…Was selected to represent Team Alabama in the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association Southeastern Shootout in the summer of 2021.
