2023: Emerged as one of the top pitchers in the Ohio Valley Conference in his debut season as a Skyhawk, making 18 appearances (12 starts)…Ranked third in the OVC in strikeouts looking (26), fifth in fewest home runs allowed (six), seventh in strikeouts (73, seventh most in school history), ninth in ERA (5.04) and 10th in innings pitched (69.2)…Improved his numbers in league play, ranking second in strikeouts looking (17), third in fewest doubles allowed (four), fourth in strikeouts (44), fifth in ERA (3.75), sixth in wins (three) and sixth in fewest home runs allowed (four)…Also added a save – hurling four innings with no earned runs allowed and six strikeouts in his OVC debut against Eastern Illinois on March 25…Was amongst the team leaders in strikeouts per nine innings (9.43)…Pitched to a 3.75 ERA over 50.1 innings in his final 14 appearances of the spring…Made five quality starts – four of which came in his final six starts of the season…Set career-highs in innings pitched (seven) and strikeouts (nine) in a win at Tennessee Tech on April 22…Did not allow an earned run in a career-best seven frames at OVC foe Lindenwood on May 6…Was UT Martin’s starting pitcher in the OVC Championship first-round outing against Tennessee Tech on May 24, fanning six batters over six innings…Struck out eight batters in four frames against two-time defending OVC champion Southeast Missouri (May 13) and also whiffed eight batters in five innings against eventual OVC Tournament champion Morehead State (April 29)…Did not allow a home run in his first 10 appearances (spanning 28.2 innings)…Was named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
