
Weather Alters Schedule Again; Skyhawks Host Middle Tennessee Wednesday

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin softball team takes a break from conference play Wednesday to host Middle Tennessee at Betty Giles Field in Martin at 1 p.m., in a game that was moved from Tuesday due to possible inclement weather. The game will air live on ESPN+ with Chris Brinkley on play-by-play and analyst and former Skyhawk Jodie Duncan.
About The Skyhawks
The Skyhawks are coming off their first three-game sweep of Southeast Missouri since 2016 and are currently 16-12 overall and 4-2 in league play. The highlight of the weekend was the pitching Sami Scholtz. threw the 11th no-hitter in UT Martin history in game one Friday against SEMO and the first seven-inning no-hitter since 2006. In game three Saturday, she carried a no-hitter 5.2 innings before allowing her first two hits of the week. In total, she threw 12.2 consecutive innings without allowing a hit.
