Awards and Honors
High School: Bruner joins the Skyhawks from Mount Zion High School where she played for head coach Greg Blakey…Finished third in the state in 2019 with an overall record of 31-5-1…Posted a .350 batting average with seven doubles, two home runs and 31 RBIs as a senior…Named to All-Apollo Conference first team while garnering third team all-state honors…Went 6-3 in the circle with a 3.29 ERA in 44.2 innings of work…While the team posted a 30-9 mark and a state tournament appearance, she missed much of the season after suffering a season-ending injury as a junior…Rebounded with a strong summer for her travel team Midland Magic by hitting .414 overall and .642 at Gold USA Nationals leading her team to a top-10 finish.
