BEFORE UTM: Was a standout at Crown Point High School, where he excelled as both a pitcher and shortstop under head coach Steve Strayer…Was ranked as one of the top-25 players in his class in the state of Indiana and was a Perfect Game Preseason All-American honorable mention in the Central Region in 2019…Helped the Bulldogs post a 28-5 overall record during his senior campaign…Registered 11 strikeouts while allowing only one hit – a bunt single – in a 1-0 sectional loss to Hobart in 2018…Tossed five innings of one-run ball with only three hits allowed as a junior against St. Xavier – the No. 1 ranked team in Kentucky…Nabbed all-tournament honors at the 2018 WWBA 17U National Championship, the 2017 WWBA 16U National Championship and the 2015 14U National Championship.
