2021: Became just the second starting pitcher in school history (first since 1996) to chalk up All-Ohio Valley Conference first team accolades, appearing in 16 games while making 14 starts…Ranked in the top-six in the OVC in games started (14, second), innings pitched (81.0, third), strikeouts (83, third), called strikeouts (24, third), victories (6, fourth) and ERA (3.78, sixth)…Lowered his ERA to 3.31 in OVC play, which was the third-best mark in the league…His 3.78 ERA was the second-lowest for a pitcher making at least eight starts in the Skyhawks’ Division I Era (since 1993)…His 83 strikeouts ranked second in UT Martin single-season history…Left the program as its all-time leader in games started (55), strikeouts (286) and innings pitched (303.1) while ranking third with 18 wins and 10th with 64 appearances…Went at least five innings in 12 starts while allowing three or fewer earned runs on 10 different occasions…Pitched into the ninth inning (career-high 8.1 innings) while allowing just one run at Eastern Illinois on April 22…Piled up at least five strikeouts in a dozen of his starts, including a career-best 11 punchouts (in just 5.2 frames) at Southeast Missouri on May 21 – marking the first time a Skyhawk had dialed up that many strikeouts since April 22, 2017…Limited right-handed hitters to a .232 batting average (45-of-194) and held all batters to a .244 average (32-for-131) with runners on the basepaths…Won four out of five decisions from Feb. 27 through March 27…Posted a microscopic 1.25 ERA over four appearances spanning 21.2 innings from April 16 through April 30…Was one of 13 Collegiate Baseball Newspaper National Players of the Week on May 24…Was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters...Earned an OVC Medal of Honor for a perfect 4.0 Grade Point Average and was also named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2020: Earned the starting nod on the mound three times as part of the shortened season…Led the OVC in runners picked off (two)…Fanned 12 batters over 13 innings of work…Established season-highs in innings pitched (five) and strikeouts (eight) at Mercer on Feb. 28…The eight strikeouts were the most by any Skyhawk pitcher in a single game in 2020…Allowed just two earned runs in starts against both Saint Louis (Feb. 14) and Indiana (Feb. 21) but did not factor into the decision…Held the opponents to a miniscule .188 batting average (3-for-16) with two outs...Was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters...Was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
