BEFORE UTM: Racked up several accolades including 2016 second-team all-state and 2016 All-Area Pitcher of the Year in his region while at Danville High School...Helped lead the Admirals to the 2014 District Championship in which he was named to the All-District team, which sparked a run of three consecutive years being selected for that award…Also made an appearance on the 45th District of Kentucky All-Tournament Team each season from 2014-2016.
PERSONAL: Born on Dec. 30, 1998…Son of Mark and Angela Baxa…Has one sister, Ashley…Uncle Paul Morse played baseball at the University of Kentucky for three years before playing seven years in minor league baseball in the Twins, Dodgers and Angels organizations…Majoring in sport management.
