2019: Made four appearances as he battled injury off and on throughout the season…Averaged a squad-best strikeout per nine inning ratio of 18.0…Longest outing came against South Dakota State (Feb. 15) as he tossed two innings while his most strikeouts in an appearance also came against the Jackrabbits when he fanned five…Allowed just two extra base hits on the season while allowing only one walk as well...Was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2018: Made 12 appearances while totaling 14 innings pitched out of the UT Martin bullpen…Wrung up 10 batters and sat down four against Troy on Feb. 17 in his two inning of relief…Fanned a pair of batters in his two innings of work against Belmont on March 25.
BEFORE UTM: Was a standout under head coach Mitch Koester at Kaskaskia College…Held opposing hitters to a .267 average over 26.1 innings pitched while racking up 23 strikeouts for Kaskaskia. In his two wins, Buzick’s ERA was just 2.16 while averaging 9.72 strikeouts per nine innings…Garnered All-Conference honors while at Granite City High School under the tutelage of John Moad.
