Skyhawks Fall At Missouri Wednesday

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Tennessee at Martin softball team fell on the road to SEC foe Missouri Wednesday, 8-0 in five innings, at the Mizzou Softball Stadium in Columbia.
The Tigers pounded out 13 hits in the game, while limiting the Skyhawks to just three. Mizzou's Cierra Henderson pitched a complete game for the Tigers, giving up no runs on just three hits and a walk with six strikeouts. Gia Recrosio, Karena Recrosio and Jordyn Hustey all recorded singles in the contest, while Ava Scott drew a walk.
Next up for the Skyhawks is a three-game series at home with Southeast Missouri, which has been altered due to rain forecasted for Sunday. The two teams will now play a single game Friday at 4 p.m., while Saturday's doubleheader, scheduled for Noon remains unchanged.
