The University of Tennessee at Martin softball team went 1-2 at home against Lindenwood last weekend, winning the middle game of the series, 3-0, but falling in the opener and finale, 10-5 and 3-2, respectively. On Wednesday, the Skyhawks traveled to Middle Tennessee, where they fell, 8-0, in five innings
The Skyhawks are batting .238 as a unit on the year and are led by Alli Robinson at .323. Robinson also leads her team with 17 RBIs, 21 hits and five doubles. In the circle, UT Martin has a team ERA of 4.03, while opponents hit .282 against them. Ashtyn Green has been the go-to for the Skyhawks at pitcher so far this season, as she is 6-3 with a save, a OVC-leading ERA of 1.95, 28 strikeouts compared to just 13 walks, and an opponent's batting average of .287.
Eastern Illinois enters the weekend at 13-13 overall and 5-1 in Ohio Valley Conference play. The Panthers extended their current streak to four over the weekend by sweeping Morehead State at home, 7-3, 8-0 in five innings, and 6-5.

Kennedy Brown is one of only nine players nationally who average at least 0.5 stolen bases per game and has not been caught stealing yet this season.
Ashtyn Green finds herself among the best in the nation statistically at this point in the season. She ranks 14^th in the nation and leads the OVC in shutouts with three and averages an OVC-leading 1.49 walks per seven innings, which is the 69^th best average in the country.
