TUCSON, Ariz. – For the second consecutive day, attack errors hampered the University of Tennessee at Martin volleyball team as the Skyhawks fell in three sets to New Mexico State (14-25, 12-25, 25-27) at the Wildcat Classic.

The senior from Conover, NC accumulated a team-high 19 kills, 33 digs (3.30 per set) and three service aces over the course of the event. It was the second all-tournament nod in Fair's two years at UT Martin, as she also earned that status at the Memphis Invitational on Sept. 15-16, 2017.

New Mexico State (10-3) never trailed in the opening set, although the Skyhawks made it close towards the end. After UT Martin trailed by seven points midway through the stanza, kills by Karen Scanlon, Reynolds, Justine Walker and Hannah Phillips closed the gap to 16-12. However, the Aggies secured nine of the final 11 points to take the first set. Gyori amassed five digs to pace the Skyhawks.

Fair helped UT Martin get off to a good start in the second set, as she was responsible for a kill and service ace as the Skyhawks led 4-2. UT Martin then went on a 8-2 run on its way to a 24-22 advantage. However, the Aggies compiled five of the final six points of the set to complete the victory.
