UT Martin Volleyball Unveils 2026 Schedule

MARTIN, Tenn. – University of Tennessee at Martin head volleyball coach Jaclynn Wilson has revealed the 2026 fall schedule, which includes 27 regular season matches against teams representing six different conferences.
A total of 16 Skyhawk contests will take place in the state of Tennessee, including 13 home matchups that make up nearly half of the schedule. Overall, 23 of UT Martin's 27 matches this fall will take place inside a 175-mile radius from campus.
Year 12 of the Wilson Era begins with the season-opening weekend Stacheville Challenge on Aug. 28-29 in Clarksville, Tenn. The Skyhawks will take on tournament host Austin Peay out of the United Athletic Conference, Kansas City from the Summit League and Jackson State out of the SouthWestern Athletic Conference in the two-day event.
UT Martin then heads to the Noona Kennard Invitational in Florence, Ala. on Sept. 4-5. The Skyhawks will battle in-state foe Chattanooga from the Southern Conference and repeat 2026 opponent Jackson State on Day 1 of the event before taking on tournament host North Alabama out of the UAC to conclude the nonconference road slate.
Five straight home matchups then dot the schedule in a five-day span. UT Martin will host Missouri Valley Conference representative Evansville on Sept. 15 in the 2026 home opener before the Skyhawk Classic takes place on Sept. 18-19. UT Martin will clash against Arkansas-Pine Bluff out of the SWAC and West Georgia from the UAC on back-to-back days to put a bow on nonconference play.
The Ohio Valley Conference schedule begins on Sept. 25-26 at SIUE before four consecutive league matchups at Skyhawk Fieldhouse as UT Martin hosts the league's top two teams from a year ago in Morehead State (Oct. 2-3) and Eastern Illinois (Oct. 9-10).
The Skyhawks travel to Western Illinois on Oct. 16-17 before returning home for a two-match series against Southeast Missouri on Oct. 23-24. UT Martin rounds out the month of October at Southern Indiana (Oct. 29-30) before the final homestand of the season, hosting Lindenwood on Nov. 5-6. The regular season will wrap up with a Nov. 17-18 road series at Tennessee State.
The 2026 OVC Championship tournament is set for Sunday, Nov. 22 through Tuesday, Nov. 24 as the regular season champion will host the eight-team event.
