Aalia Bivens enters her first season as an assistant coach at UT Martin in 2023 after previously serving as a graduate assistant.
Bivens serves as an assistant coach with a primary focus on hitting and the outfielders.
Prior to joining the coaching staff she spent four seasons in a Skyhawk uniform where she started 150 games in the outfield. For her career she posted a .269 batting average with 27 doubles, nine home runs and 54 RBIs while notching a .350 on-base percentage and .398 slugging percentage. She also drew 42 walks while tallying 112 career hits.
Before coming to UT Martin, she spent one season at Tennessee Tech where she played her freshman season and posted a .300 batting average with eight doubles, seven home runs and 14 RBIs.
In addition to her work on the field, she garnered five Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll selections. She also earned three Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete honors.
A native of Martin, Bivens graduated from UT Martin in the fall of 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports coaching.
