Bio
2021: Started in all 24 of his games played before suffering a season-ending injury in mid-April…Paced the team in triples (three) and times hit by pitch (five)…Hit .266 with three doubles, one home run, five RBI’s, 17 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases…Was responsible for a team-best .474 batting average (9-of-19) against left-handed pitching and hit .324 (12-for-37) with runners in scoring position…Collected eight multi-hit games, including a season-best three base knocks (a double shy of hitting for the cycle) at Grambling State on March 27 and in the frontend of the doubleheader at SIUE on April 9…Scored three runs in the first game of the Feb. 27 doubleheader at Arkansas State and also in the aforementioned game at Grambling State on March 27…Drew three walks against Belmont on March 11…Swiped a pair of stolen bases at Nicholls on April 1…Hit .353 (12-for-34) during a season-long seven-game hitting streak from March 20 through April 1…Boasted an unblemished 1.000 fielding percentage with two assists in 49 chances…Was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters...Earned an OVC Medal of Honor for a perfect 4.0 Grade Point Average and was also named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
