2021: Was one of the team’s best hitters throughout the spring, playing in 46 games while making 42 starts (31 at third base, eight in left field, three in right field)…Ranked first on the squad in batting average (.299), doubles (13) and on-base percentage (.382)…Also ranked second on the team in slugging percentage (.510) while adding six home runs, 27 RBI’s and 26 runs scored…Wore out right-handed pitching to the tune of a team-high .327 batting average (36-for-110) while also hitting .303 (20-of-66) with runners aboard the basepaths…Registered 12 multi-hit games, including a pair of career-best three-hit performances (at Southern Illinois on March 5, against Tennessee Tech on May 14)…Had seven multi-RBI efforts, driving in a career-high four runs in the backend of the April 9 doubleheader at SIUE…Scored a career-best three runs in the aforementioned May 14 contest against Tennessee Tech…Hit safely in 13 out of 14 games from March 30 through April 23, starting that stretch with a season-best eight-game hitting streak (hitting .423 in 26 at-bats during that span)…Additionally hit .423 (11-for-26) over the final seven games of the season…Cranked the eventual game-winning, go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the eighth inning at No. 11 Ole Miss on May 18…Was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters.
2020: Played in 12 games, making eight starts (six at third base, two in right field) during the abbreviated season…Hit safely in five of his starts, combining for three RBI’s over his final three starts – including a season-best two RBI’s in the Ohio Valley Conference victory over Southeast Missouri on March 8…Scored a run at Alabama A&M (Feb. 19), against Siena (Feb. 22) and at Mercer (Feb. 29)…Drove in a run and reached base safely twice at Mercer on March 1.
