
Scoreless Week Earns Kreuziger OVC Pitcher of the Week Accolade

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Sophomore Natalie Kreuziger of the University of Tennessee at Martin softball team has been named as the Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Kreuziger went 2-0 with a perfect 0.00 ERA across two appearances and 10.0 innings of work last week. She tossed the final three innings of game one of the series against Tennessee Tech and allowed no runs on two hits with three strikeouts. In game three, she threw a complete game shutout in which she allowed only three hits with five strikeouts. She struck out eight on the week compared to three walks for a 0.80 WHIP, while limiting her opponents to a paltry .143 batting average.
On the season, Kreuziger is 8-4 with three saves, a league-best 2.53 ERA and a team-high 66 strikeouts, for a seven-inning average of 6.19. She also has a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 2.64, a WHIP of 1.29 and an opponent's batting average of .242.
Kreuziger and the Skyhawks will wrap up the 2026 regular season at home at Bettye Giles Field on Friday and Saturday against Southern Indiana. On Friday, the two teams will play a doubleheader beginning at Noon, followed by a single game Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
