
Kreuziger Named TSWA Pitcher of the Week

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sophomore Natalie Kreuziger of the University of Tennessee at Martin softball team has been named as the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Pitcher of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday.
Natalie Kreuziger allowed just one earned run on nine hits in two appearances last week. In her complete game shutout in game two against Morehead State, she allowed just five hits with no walks and a career-high 11 strikeouts.
On the season, Kreuziger is 6-4 with a 2.92 ERA and a team-high 58 strikeouts. She averages a team-best 6.3 strikeouts per seven innings with a WHIP of 1.36.
Next up for Kreuziger and the Skyhawks is a trip to Tennessee Tech on Saturday and Sunday. The two teams will play a doubleheader Saturday and a single game Sunday, with both days beginning at Noon.
