PEORIA, Ill. – Senior Alli Robinson of the University of Tennessee at Martin softball team has earned a spot on the 2025 All-Ohio Valley Conference second team as an at-large selection, the league announced Tuesday morning.
Robinson has been the anchor for the Skyhawks on the diamond this season, leading the team in batting at .311 overall and .333 in conference play. The only Skyhawk to play and start in all 46 games in 2025, she leads the team in hits with 41, RBIs with 34, doubles with eight and triples with two.
In addition, the Buckhannon, West Virginia native has tallied 18 runs, 17 walks, six home runs and a stolen base. Amongst starters, she also leads the team in slugging percentage at .538 and on-base percentage at .389.
She is the team leader in multiple RBI games this year, with eight, and has recorded multiple hits in a game 10 times. Her reached base streak of 11 games is the longest of any UT Martin player this season and has tallied a season-best three hits in a game on two separate occasions.
Robinson went a perfect 3-for-3 at home on Feb. 13 against Western Michigan and went 3-for-4 two weeks later against Delaware State in Knoxville. Against the Hornets, she drove in a season-high five runs, before tallying four RBIs Mar. 28 at Western Illinois.
Tuesday's award marks the third postseason accolade of Robinson's career, after being named to the OVC All-Newcomer team in 2024 and to the All-Mountain East first team in 2022 while at West Virginia Wesleyan.
For UT Martin, Robinson becomes the 53rd Skyhawk to earn All-OVC accolades, representing 92 total all-conference honors.
The Skyhawks now turn their attention to the 2025 OVC Softball Championship at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria, Illinois. On Wednesday, eighth-seeded UT Martin opens OVC play against fifth-seeded Lindenwood. The winner of the contest advances to the double-elimination portion of the competition, while the loser will be eliminated.
