
Farmer Inks Four For Skyhawk Softball For 2025

MARTIN, Tenn. – Head coach Chelsea Farmer of the University of Tennessee at Martin softball team has announced the signing of four players as part of her first official signing class for the 2025 season.
Paisley Campbell is a catcher from Coffey Central High School and Manchester, Tennessee. She is a three-time All-District selection and a former district Defensive Player of the Year. Nationally, she has been honored twice as a first-team All-Region selection by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Last season, Campbell turned in an impressive year at the plate last season with a .405 batting average, .469 on-base percentage and a .646 slugging percentage to go along with 30 RBIs and four home runs.
Kaytie Chandler is a pitcher from Prattville High School and Prattville, Alabama. She was an AHSAA State Regional Finalist 2022 and 2024 she earned All-State honorable mention accolades and first-team All-County honors. Through four seasons as a starting pitcher, Chandler has a 2.12 ERA and over 300 career strikeouts. In addition to softball, she serves as the quarterback for Prattville's flag football team where she has helped her team advance to the 6A/7A state quarterfinals so far.
Teagan Hayes is an outfielder from Woodland, California, and Woodland Christian HS. She is a two-time league MVP and was also a first-team All-League selection last season. As a hitter, she has consistently gotten better with time, hitting .485 as a freshman, .500 as sophomore and a .531 as a junior. Thus far in her career, Hayes has tallied 130 RBIs on 114 hits with 18 home runs. In addition, she is a multi-sport athlete, also playing golf and basketball, in which is a three-time first-team All-League honoree.
Payton Hurst in a utility player from Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Riverdale High School. Hurst was a 2023 and 2024 All-District selection and was also the 2023 Upcoming Player of the Year. Last season, Hurst hit .306 with a .359 on-base percentage and a .569 on-base percentage.
