MARTIN, Tenn. – The home portion of the University of Tennessee at Martin's 2020-21 volleyball schedule starts this Sunday, Feb. 14 as the Skyhawks will take on in-state Ohio Valley Conference foe Belmont in a pair of matches at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. A maximum of 300 fans will be allowed to attend the matches at Skyhawk Fieldhouse.
Sunday kickstarts a season-long four-match homestand for UT Martin and will be the first match held in Skyhawk Fieldhouse since Nov. 9, 2019. The Skyhawks have not lost to the Bruins since 2017, sweeping Belmont each of the past two seasons.

UT Martin split its season-opening road trip at Eastern Kentucky last week, winning 3-1 on Sunday (25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19) before falling in a tough five-set decision on Monday (28-26, 30-28, 22-25, 13-25, 13-15).
Logan Wallick topped the Skyhawks in kills (32) and attack percentage (.250) last week while Karen Scanlon (2.78 kills per set, .243 hitting percentage, 3.89 digs per set) also stood out. Haeleigh Paulino (5.22) and Addy Vaughn (3.67) combined for nearly nine assists per set while UT Martin's defense was paced by Dylan Mott (team-best 36 digs, 4.00 per set) and Zoe Merriweather (six blocks).
A trio of Skyhawks find themselves in the OVC's top-10 in various statistical categories. Merriweather ranks fifth in blocks (1.20 per set) while Scanlon's five service aces rank seventh and Wallick's 3.56 kills per set rank 10th.
Belmont is 0-2 after a pair of three-set home losses against SIUE (14-25, 18-25, 19-25 on Sunday; 20-25, 14-25, 19-25 on Monday). Kristen Clemons' 13 kills (2.17 per set) ranked as a team-high while Carly Mason (5.83 assists per set) and Izzy Schauer (3.33 assists per set) split duties at setter.
