
LOGAN WALLICK EARNS SPOT ON PRESEASON ALL-OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE VOLLEYBALL SQUAD

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Logan Wallick, a redshirt junior on the University of Tennessee at Martin volleyball squad, was spotlighted as one of 14 players on the Preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference team released this afternoon.
A 6-0 outside hitter out of Waddell, Ariz., Wallick dialed up All-OVC second team honors in 2019 after topping UT Martin in kills (302, 2.96 per set), attacks (889) and points (333.0). She drew the starting nod in 29 out of her 30 matches played, accumulating a .159 hitting percentage, 148 digs (1.45 per set) and 49 blocks over 102 sets.
Wallick led the Skyhawks in kills on 16 different occasions as a redshirt sophomore, including 12 of the final 14 matches of the season. She slammed down at least 18 kills in five matches, including a career-best 24-kill effort (in just four sets) at Tennessee State on Oct. 26.
Last season, Wallick generated one double-double (16 kills, career-high 15 digs against Southeast Missouri on Oct. 29) and swatted away a career-high six blocks on Sept. 6 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
For her career, Wallick ranks ninth in UT Martin history in attack attempts per set (7.90) and 10th in kills per set (2.67).
Wallick is one of four returning starters for the Skyhawks during the 2020-21 season, which will start on Feb. 7 with a two-match road trip to OVC rival Eastern Kentucky.
