ERICA MYERS EARNS SECOND OVC GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK HONOR OF THE SEASON

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – After notching a pair of shutouts on the opening weekend of Ohio Valley Conference play, University of Tennessee at Martin junior Erica Myers picked up her second OVC Goalkeeper of the Week honor of the season.
A native of Holland, Ohio, Myers picked up where she left off last season after earning All-OVC first team honors with a pair of standout performances against Eastern Illinois and Belmont on the opening weekend of league play. Myers played 200 minutes while tallying eight saves and recording a pair of shutouts. The two shutouts moved her career total up to 11 to move into second on the program's all-time leaderboard.
Myers ranks first in the OVC in goals against average (1.38), save percentage (78.6) and shutouts (three) while ranking second in saves (55). She has allowed just 15 goals on the season while playing 978 minutes in 10 games.
The Skyhawks will hit the road for their next two contests with a matchup against Murray State on Friday, Sept. 27 before closing out the weekend at Austin Peay on Sunday, Sept. 29. Both games will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN+.
