FLORENCE, Ala. – The No. 3 duo of Justine Walker and Megan Fair went a perfect 2-0 on the day during a double dual at North Alabama but the University of Tennessee at Martin beach volleyball team was handed a pair of setbacks (4-1, 3-2) this afternoon.
          Â
Walker and Fair came away with a big 21-16, 21-7 victory in the morning match, providing the Skyhawks with a tally on the scoreboard. UT Martin nearly picked up a win at No. 5 as well but the team of Lindsey Geurin and Gintare Mackeviciute was defeated 21-17, 19-21, 15-11.
          Â
At No. 2, Kenzie Hinshaw and Karen Scanlon gave it their all but fell by scores of 21-19, 21-16. Jessica Reynolds and Addison Conley represented the Skyhawks at No. 4 but were defeated 21-14, 21-15. The No. 1 tandem of Hannah Phillips and Brooke Gyori fell 21-9, 21-10 to close out the opening match of the day.
          Â
In the backend of the double dual, Walker and Fair once again found success with a 24-22, 21-18 triumph. UT Martin's No. 5 team of Geurin and Mackeviciute busted through for a come-from-behind 16-21, 25-23, 15-13 victory.
