SKYHAWKS EARN NO. 6 SEED AS OVC VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD IS SET

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Volleyball Championship field is set and the University of Tennessee at Martin has clinched the No. 6 seed.
Jacksonville State earned the regular-season title and the No. 1 seed. The Gamecocks will host the tourney which will take place Nov. 21-23. Southeast Missouri earned the No. 2 seed while Murray State is No. 3. Morehead State is the No. 4 seed followed by Austin Peay, UT Martin, Tennessee Tech and SIUE.
The Skyhawks (13-18, 9-7 OVC) will take on Murray State in the OVC Championship quarterfinals for the second straight season. UT Martin enters the postseason as one of the hottest teams in the league, having won eight of its final 11 OVC matches down the stretch.
