Josh Perry enters his first season as an outside linebackers coach at UT Martin for the 2025 season.
Before joining the Skyhawks, Perry served as the defensive coordinator at McComb High School.
Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Perry was a defensive back at Southern Miss (2020-21) and Memphis (2016-19). During his playing career he racked up 120 total tackles, including 83 solo stops, while racking up eight passes defended in 50 games. His best season came in 2018 when he tallied 63 tackles and five pass breakups.
Perry earned his bachelor’s degree from Memphis in 2019 before pursuing his master’s degree at Southern Miss.
