2020: Reeled off three victories while partnering exclusively alongside Gintare Mackeviciute during the abbreviated season…Went 2-1 at No. 2 while also contributing a victory at No. 3…Additionally competed at No. 1 for three of the final five matches of the season…Started the season on a two-match winning streak…Two setbacks came in third-set tiebreakers...Was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the spring semester.
2019: Suffered a season-ending injury in the preseason and was granted a medical redshirt.
BEFORE UTM: Was a versatile option for head coach Kelsey Drendel at Normal West High School, where she was a defensive specialist and an outside hitter for the Wildcats…Was an All-Big 12 Conference honoree during her senior season, helping NWHS win each of its first seven matches of the year…Guided the Wildcats to the Class 4A regional semifinals as a junior, ranking amongst the area leaders with 3.0 kills per set…One of her best games during her junior campaign was when she posted team-highs of 12 kills, six service aces and 13 digs in a win against Chatham Glenwood.
PERSONAL: Born on April 8, 1999…Daughter of Eric Rys and Heather Hucal…Has one sibling, Tyler...Majoring in health and human performance.
