2023-24: Saw action in 12 rounds over four events, accounting for a 75.2 stroke average…Posted par or better scores in five different rounds, including a season-best 69 in the second round of the Grover Page Classic on Sept. 18…Placed 11th out of 93 players at the aforementioned Grover Page Classic (Sept. 18-19) for his best tournament finish of the season…Was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters…Was named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

BEFORE UTM: Graduated from Bearden High School in Knoxville, the same program that produced two-time All-Ohio Valley Conference honoree and Skyhawk great Ben Reeves...Morrell was a two-time individual state qualifier and won three tournaments in 2018 – emerging on top of the leaderboard at the McMinnville Invitational, the Keith Maxwell Invitational and the 5-Star Prep event held at Tennessee National Golf Course...A two-time all-district honoree, he posted multiple top-15 finishes as a junior golfer...Won the 2017 HIGT Knoxville Junior Open and placed in the top-five at the 2016 Junior All-Star tournament...Also earned top-10 finishes at the 2018 Scott Stallings AJGA event and in the 2018 Wally Invitational...Carded a top-15 finish at the Tennessee State Junior Amateur in both 2018 and 2017 as well as at the 2018 AJGA Junior...Also was part of the Team East squad in the 2018 Tennessee Junior Cup tournament.
PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 23, 2001...Son of Mark and Danna Morrell...Has two siblings, Jaden and Gabby...Brother Jaden signed with the Skyhawk golf program and will be a freshman during the 2024-25 campaign...Graduated from UT Martin with a degree in engineering and is currently working towards obtaining a Master's degree in business administration.
