2024: Tallied an impressive 8-1 Ohio Valley Conference record while finishing 12-11 overall (all at No. 4)…Her dozen victories were the most by any Skyhawk out of the No. 4 slot in the lineup…Primarily teamed up with Haeleigh Paulino (11-10) while also adding a win alongside Kayla Carrell…Had a season-long five-match winning streak from April 19-26, including a pair of decisions in the OVC Championship tournament…Secured the match-clinching point against Jacksonville State on April 10…Was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters…Was named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2023: Saw playing time in one match, winning her decision alongside Brooke Kuball at No. 5 against Oklahoma Wesleyan on Feb. 25…Allowed the opposition to score just 18 total points (won 21-7, 21-11)…Was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters...Was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

BEFORE UTM: Was a force for Westfall High School under head coach Jessica Sullivan...Amassed 1,344 kills (4.3 per set) on a .343 attack percentage, 409 digs, 279 blocks and 108 service aces over a remarkable four-year prep career...Over her final two seasons, Phillips helped lead the Mustangs to a 37-10 overall record as WHS completed a remarkable turnaround to win the Scioto Valley Conference championship in 2019 – the program's first league title since 2013...Was the 2019 SVC Player of the Year and was an all-state honorable mention selection, tallying career-highs in kills (402, 4.8 per set), service aces (38) and digs (200)...Was an All-SVC first team honoree while also nabbing All-Southeast District accolades for the second consecutive season as a senior...Was spotlighted as one of just nine Division III All-Stars selected by the Ohio District 14 Volleyball Coaches Association while helping guide the Mustangs to a district championship...Overall, she slammed down at least 300 kills in each of her four high school seasons...Posted a career-best .408 attack percentage as a freshman while swatting away a career-high 82 blocks during her sophomore campaign...Also played for the highly respected national power Elite Volleyball Club based out of Plain City, Ohio.
PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 18, 2003...Daughter of Chris and Michelle Phillips...Has two older sisters, Alex and Hannah...Sister Hannah was an All-Ohio Valley Conference honoree for the Skyhawks and served as the program's director of operations during Kristin's freshman campaign...Graduated from UT Martin with a degree in marketing in May 2025 and is currently obtaining a Master's degree in business administration.
