BEFORE UTM: Put together a strong prep career for head coaches Kris McWhirter and Joshua Carman at Beech Senior High School…Helped guide the Buccaneers to a 68-35 record and 26-9 mark in district play in his final three seasons, including sweeping the District 10-4A regular season and tournament championships during his senior campaign…Also helped Beech to just its third TSSAA state tournament appearance in school history as a sophomore…Was spotlighted by Perfect Game as the No. 2 catcher recruit in his class in the state of Tennessee…Was a Perfect Game Preseason All-American in 2023 and a Preseason Underclassmen All-American in 2022.
