CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.- The University of Tennessee at Martin track and field team enjoyed a successful day at the Joey Haines Invite hosted by Southeast Missouri. The Skyhawks landed podium finishes, top 10 performances and a handful of personal bests.

Notable Performers

Sophomore Ridge Bruce's time of 9:55.92 in the 3k Steeplechase earned him the top spot on the podium and a PR.
Reese Settle tallied two PRs with a mark of 2:21.45 (sixth) in the 800m and a time of 4:49.22 (second) in the 1500m.
David Stukey finished in the top three during the 800m competition (third, 1:53.15).
Freshman Charlotte Cones notched a PR in the 800m (12^th, 2:25.71) and the 1500m (fifth, 4:55.17).
Sophia Cahill's time of 12:31.22 in the 3k Steeplechase was good enough for third place.
In the 400m hurdles, Taliah Geddes achieved a PR with a ninth-place finish and time of 1:13.31.
Malik Smith's toss of 35.59m in discus earned the Freshman a new PR.
