MARTIN, Tenn.- Fresh off a series win, the University of Tennessee at Martin baseball team continues its season-long homestand when it squares off with Union at home on Tuesday, March 10 at 5 p.m.

UT Martin (7-8) enters the week top-25 in NCAA DI baseball in stolen bases (seventh, 47), doubles (ninth, 42), triples (17^th, six), batting average (21^st, .323) and hits (25^th, 171). The Skyhawks are second in the conference in runs per game at 8.5.

Individually, UT Martin has several players among the nation's elite. TJ Grines (first, 17) and Andrew Davis (16^th, 12) are top-20 in stolen bases. Garner Anderson is top-20 in on-base percentage (fifth, .610), slugging percentage (ninth, 1.000) and batting average (18^th, .467). Colten Payton's 26 hits on 21^st-most nationally and second-most in the conference.

The Skyhawk pitching staff is fourth in the conference in earned run average (6.31) being led by Jacob Sitton (fifth in ERA in the OVC, 1.96) and Maxwell Schumacher (eighth in ERA in the OVC, 2.86). Out of the bullpen, Mason Little is third in the conference in saves with two.

Union (10-11) ranks second in the Gulf South Conference in strikeouts with 187 and is third in RBIs (141). The Bulldogs have three position players hitting .300 or better including Elijah Ramsey who leads the team at .377. Sophomore righty Cole Lannom leads the team in ERA (4.05) and strikeouts (30).
