
Skyhawks Host Lindenwood For First OVC Home Series

MARTIN, Tenn.- The University of Tennessee at Martin baseball team welcomes in Ohio Valley Conference foe Lindenwood for the first conference series at Skyhawk Field in 2026. Game 1 is scheduled for Friday, March 27 at 5 p.m. while Game 2 is set for Saturday, March 28 at 3 p.m. The series finale will take place on Sunday, March 29 at 1 p.m.

Among the national ranks, UT Martin (11-13, 0-3 OVC) is 14th in stolen bases (68) and 21st in doubles (56). On the conference leaderboards the Skyhawks are third in batting average (.303) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (1.69) while also sitting at fourth in slugging percentage (.455).

TJ Grines leads all of NCAA DI baseball in stolen bases (25, seventh-most in a single season) and Garner Anderson is 14th in the country in slugging percentage (.554). Andrew Davis has reached base safely in every contest this season while also ranking 23rd nationally in stolen bases (16). TJ Dunsford's 30 RBIs (team-best) are the third most in the OVC and Colten Payton leads the Skyhawks in hits with 37 (third in the conference).

Out of the bullpen, Mason Little is 21st in the country in saves (4) and carries a 2.31 ERA in 11 appearances. Righthander Jacob Sitton boasts a 2.21 ERA (fourth in the OVC) and has fanned 34 batters (third in the OVC) while Maxwell Schumacher's 25 strikeouts rank seventh in the conference. Gabe Bryant leads all UT Martin relivers in strikeouts with 14 in 11 appearances and 10.2 innings pitched.

The Lions rank fourth nationally in shutouts (four) and lead the OVC in ERA (4.10). Offensively, Lindenwood sits behind UT Martin on the conference leaderboard in stolen bases with 53.
