
Skyhawks Reveal 2026 Schedule

MARTIN, Tenn.- University of Tennessee at Martin baseball head coach Ryan Jenkins has released the 2026 schedule which features 31 home games (tied for most in NCAA DI era) and 27 matchups against Ohio Valley Conference foes.

Before the week that OVC play begins, the Skyhawks will be home for 15 of 19 contests. A season-long 11 game homestand takes place from Feb. 24-March 15. After that three-week span inside its friendly confines, UT Martin's schedule will feature three stretches of four or more home games at Skyhawk Field.

In total, UT Martin will play two teams that finished with 40 or more wins, three participants in last year's NCAA Tournament, eight teams that finished with 30 or more victories and 11 opponents who wrapped up conference play with a winning record.

Jenkins begins his ninth season when the Skyhawks welcome in Butler for a four-game series on Feb. 13-15. Following Opening Day, UT Martin travels to Thibodaux, La. to square off with Nicholls (two NCAA tournament appearances in the last three years) on Feb. 20-22 for four contests. Then it's the first of two dates against last year's Cinderella and College World Series participant Murray State on Feb. 24 in Martin, Tenn.

The Skyhawks finish the month of February and begin March with a three-game home set against Bradley (Feb. 27-March 1) before hosting Mississippi Valley State in a three-game series (March 6-8). A midweek matchup will see UT Martin host Union on March 10th while the weekend series brings in The Citadel to Skyhawk Field for the first ever meeting between the two schools (March 13-15). The final midweek contest before OVC play begins will have UT Martin travel to Southern Illinois for the first of two matchups against the Salukis (March 17).

The OVC opener sends the Skyhawks north to play Southeast Missouri at Capaha Field (March 20-22). UT Martin returns home for a date with Southern Illinois on March 24 before its conference home opener against Lindenwood (March 27-29). The Skyhawks travel to Union to conclude the season series on March 31st and begin the month of April at Morehead State (April 2-4).

UT Martin travels to face North Alabama (April 7) before hosting Tennessee Tech for three games (April 10-12). North Alabama heads up to Skyhawk Field on April 14th to finish off the season series then UT Martin makes the trek to Evansville, Ind. for a three-game clash against Southern Indiana (April 17-19).

UT Martin closes out its April home schedule with Belmont (April 21) and defending OVC regular season champion Eastern Illinois (April 24-26). A season-long five game road trip starts at Belmont (April 28) and moves to Western Illinois for a three-game set (May 1-3). The Skyhawks end the season series with Murray State at Johnny Reagan Field on May 5.

UT Martin concludes the home portion of its campaign against reigning OVC Tournament Champion and Baton Rouge Regional Runner-Up Little Rock (May 8-10). The Skyhawks hit the road for the final week of the season with stops at Ole Miss (May 12) and SIUE (May 14-16).

UT Martin will look to continue its school-record postseason appearance streak with a fourth consecutive trip to the OVC Baseball Championships (May 19-23) at Mtn. Dew Park in Marion, Ill.
