
Skyhawks Earn No. 1 Seed For Upcoming Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship

WACO, Texas – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association selection committee has assigned seedings for the 2025 Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship tournament, which will take place on the University of Tennessee at Martin campus on Thursday, March 27 through Saturday, March 29.
The Skyhawks (6-0 in ECAC standings) will be the No. 1 seed in the field and is followed by No. 2 UC Davis (3-2 ECAC), No. 3 Delaware State (3-3), No. 4 South Dakota State (3-3) and No. 5 Minnesota-Crookston (0-7).
A total of four meets will take place inside the Ned McWherter Agricultural Complex over the course of three days. The quarterfinals between No. 4 South Dakota State and No. 5 Minnesota-Crookston will take place at noon on Thursday with the winner advancing to face No. 1 UT Martin in the semifinals on Friday. No. 2 UC Davis and No. 3 Delaware State will battle simultaneously on Friday in the other semifinal matchup, which starts at 10 a.m.
The two semifinal victors will collide for the right to be crowned ECAC champions on Saturday at 10 a.m.
The Skyhawks are hosting a conference tournament for the fourth time in school history, also hosting the 2021 ECAC Championship as well as the 2013 and 2019 United Equestrian Conference Championship.
