Skyhawk Men’s Cross Country Ranked 15th in the NCAA South Region

NEW ORLEANS, La.- After a strong performance against some of the nation's best at the Gans Creek Classic, the University of Tennessee at Martin men's cross country team earned the No. 15 ranking from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in the NCAA South Region polls.
The Skyhawk men are the only Ohio Valley Conference program (men or women) to be ranked in the latest edition of the polls. UT Martin joins Alabama, Florida State, Tennessee, Auburn, Lipscomb, Ole Miss, Belmont, North Florida, Florida, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Middle Tennessee and Kennesaw State in the rankings.
This marks the second straight year the Skyhawks have appeared in the polls. UT Martin came in at No. 15 in the preseason rankings in 2023.
The Skyhawks will wrap up the regular season on Friday, Oct. 18 at the Angel Mounds Invitational in Evansville, Ind.
