
Skyhawks Land Multiple Personal Bests at CBU Invitational; Women Win Second Straight Meet

MEMPHIS, Tenn.- The UT Martin cross country teams put together another impressive week with personal bests from every member of the scoring five on its way to a first-place finish in the women's 6k and a second-place finish in the men's 8k. The women's victory marked the first time in school history that the women's team has won in back-to-back meets.

The women's team dominated the field by 23 points while the men's team claimed second place with 49 points.

Leading the Skyhawk women for the second consecutive week was Danielle Mudd who finished in second on a time of 21:40.6 (PR). Reese Settle notched a personal best after crossing the finish line at 21:44.5 to earn third. Annie Burns' PR of 22:01.3 helped the Soldotna, Alaska native finish in fifth while freshman Kate Robinson captured a new personal best of 22:02.1 (sixth). Charlotte Cones's 10th place finish (22:16.1, PR) was the exclamation point on UT Martin's big day in the 901.

Angus Monro nabbed third place behind a PR of 24:26.4 to pace the Skyhawks. Junior Keagan Enicks was right behind his teammate with a 24:30.2 finish to claim fourth and a new personal best. Will Douglas captured ninth-place courtesy of a time of 24:48.6 (PR). The London, Ohio native David Stukey landed a personal best of 25:03.0 for 11th place while Tobias Tanui finished in the scoring five for the first time this season after a PR of 26:26.7.

Next, UT Martin finishes the regular season at the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. on Friday, Oct. 16.
