
Skyhawk Cross Country To Host OVC Preview This Saturday

MARTIN, Tenn.- For the first time since 2021, the University of Tennessee at Martin Cross Country program will host a meet. The UT Martin Cross Country OVC Preview is set for Saturday, Sept. 14 with women's teams running a 6k at 9 a.m. and men's teams competing in an 8k at 10 a.m.

The event will be held at Graham Park in Union City which is the largest facility in the Union City park system.

The men's 8k race features three loops of two kilometers and then a final loop of one mile with a 400m straight finish. The women's 6k consists of the same course with two loops of two kilometers and a final loop of one mile while keeping the same 400m straight finish.

Both races feature athletes from UT Martin, Southeast Missouri, Southern Indiana, Tennessee Tech, Tennessee State, Murray State and Lindenwood.

Parking will be available near the baseball fields with lots open throughout the park.
