
UT MARTIN TRACK AND FIELD FINDS FLURRY OF PERSONAL BESTS AT PNC BANK BELLARMINE CLASSIC

LOUISVILLE, Ky- The University of Tennessee at Martin track and field teams notched several personal records and a first place finish in the 60-meter dash in a successful day at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic.
Meet Highlights
-Â Â Â Â Holly Henderson shattered the 25-year-old school record in the triple jump with a PR of 11.38 meters.
-Â Â Â Â Chadwick Stewart claimed first place in the 60m dash by tying his own school and personal record of 6.84 seconds.
-Â Â Â Â Sam Shuman highlighted the 3k race for the Skyhawks with an eight-place finish and a PR of 8:25.03.
-Â Â Â Â Freshman Angus Monro led the charge for UT Martin in the 800m with a PR of 1:55.27.
-Â Â Â Â Rita Eimer continued her hot start to the track and field season with another PR, this time it was in the 800m with a time of 2:15.35 which was good enough for sixth place.
-Â Â Â Â Luke Johnson set a new PR in the 5k crossing the finish line at 14:46.45.
-Â Â Â Â In the one mile, sophomore Maggie Roy led the Skyhawks with her PR of 5:09.63.
-    Hudson Hall nabbed a new PR in the one mile (4:13.15) finishing in 11th place.
UT Martin will stay in the Volunteer State next week with an appearance in the Music City Challenge (Feb. 9-Feb 10.).
