UT MARTIN SOCCER TO BEGIN PRESEASON BY HOSTING THREE EXHIBITIONS

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin soccer team will host three exhibition contests leading up to the start of the regular season at Skyhawk Field over the next nine days.
The Skyhawks will begin their exhibition slate with a matchup against regional foe Memphis on Thursday, Aug. 5. The Tigers are coming off an 8-4 season in which the team finished as runner-up in The American while earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament. Action is scheduled to get underway at 6 p.m.
UT Martin has a quick turnaround before hosting Western Kentucky on Saturday, Aug. 7. The Hilltoppers won a Conference USA title last season while going 8-2-2 on the year. First touch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The squad will then cap off their preseason schedule with its third and final matchup against Arkansas State on Friday, Aug. 13 at 5 p.m. The Red Wolves posted an 11-5-1 record while winning the Sun Belt regular season title last year.
Fans are welcome to attend each of the three contests at Skyhawk Field in addition to the team's six regular season matches free of charge.
