Four Skyhawks Earn OVC Preseason Accolades

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Four University of Tennessee at Martin soccer players received preseason accolades from the Ohio Valley Conference Wednesday in advance of the 2026 season. Senior forward Peyton Cook and redshirt senior goalkeeper Mac Titus were named as Returning All-OVC, while junior forward Millie Perry and junior midfielder Unni Wolf were named as Players to Watch.
Cook, a second-team All-OVC selection last season, led the Skyhawks with six goals last season and also led the team in points by adding three assists. In addition, she put a team-high 62.5-percent of her shots on target in 2025, placing 28 of 45 shots on goal. Titus also earned second-team All-Conference accolades last season by notching seven shutouts and leading the league in goals-against average at 0.71 and save percentage at 87.9.
Wolf proved herself as a solid midfielder for the Skyhawks a season ago by scoring a goal and tallying two assists. The 2026 season will be Perry's first full season with the Skyhawks, as she spent the majority of last season recovering from injury after transferring from Georgia Southern.
In addition to the individual awards, the Skyhawks were picked to finish fourth as a team by a vote of the league's head coaches and sports information directors. The predicted finish is the highest for UT Martin in the annual preseason poll since 2022, when it was tabbed second.
The Skyhawks will play two home exhibition matches on Aug. 5 against Arkansas State and Aug. 8 against Northwest Mississippi before officially opening the 2026 season at Chattanooga Aug. 12.
