MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin volleyball squad looks to get back on track with a pair of home contests against Ohio Valley Conference foe Southeast Missouri. The Skyhawks will host the Redhawks at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 7 and 3 p.m. on Monday, March 8.
Now at the exact midway point of the regular season schedule, UT Martin owns a 5-3 record and is currently in fifth place in the OVC standings. The Skyhawks will look to jump into the top-four after their matchups against Southeast Missouri as UT Martin has won six of the last seven home outings against the Redhawks (the lone loss coming in five sets last season).

The Skyhawks split four matches last week, defeating Belmont twice at home on Feb. 24 before falling in road contests at Murray State on Feb. 28-March 1. Hinshaw (three double-doubles, 9.69 assists per set) and Zoe Merriweather (team-best 1.62 blocks per set average) also paced the Skyhawks.
For the season, Hinshaw's 10.09 assists per set rank fifth in the OVC while Wallick (3.22 kills per set, ninth) and Scanlon (3.60 points per set, ninth; 0.35 service aces per set, ninth) also rank in the OVC's top-10 in their respective statistical categories.
Southeast Missouri, who last season won its first OVC Tournament championship since 2000, enters on a six-match winning streak. Laney Malloy ranks third in the OVC in kills (4.07 per set) while Claire Ochs (10.47 assists per set, third) and Ally Dion (0.43 service aces per set, fifth) also key the Redhawk offense.
