MINTON ANNOUNCES VIRTUAL TRYOUT INFORMATION FOR 2020-21 SKYHAWK CHEER SEASON

MARTIN, Tenn. – New University of Tennessee at Martin head cheer coach Amber Minton has released information on 2020-21 tryouts, which will be done virtually.
The goal is for all potential student-athletes to receive scholarships based on experience and abilities. Those who are interested should submit a completed application and video sample to utmcheertryout@gmail.com by August 10. Video submissions should include: UTM fight song, tumbling skills, toe touch and UTM cheer of choice. Minton will reply to all emails with further information.
Callbacks will be announced and final tryouts will be done in small groups at the Skyhawk Fieldhouse Blue Room.
For those who wish to attend, an open gym for tumbling will be held at Flip & Tumble Gymnastics in Union City on June 17 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Participants should arrive early with the required waiver form. There is no cost for UT Martin cheer candidates.
