
BASEBALL SKYHAWKS HOST CHRISTIAN BROTHERS IN MIDWEEK SHOWDOWN

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin is set to host regional rival Christian Brothers in a midweek matchup. First pitch on Wednesday, April 10 is scheduled for 6 p.m.
UT Martin (12-19) is led by the electric play of Casey Harford and Jordan Stoner. Harford paces the Skyhawks in batting average (.333) and is tied for the most RBIs (17). He has roped six doubles and rolled off one long ball while he has also swiped a pair of bases. Stoner sports a respectable .319 batting clip to go along with six two-baggers, couple of homers and 17 RBIs. He has also showcased some speed on the basepaths as he has stolen five bases on the season. Creighton Eldridge has dialed in over the last nine contests as he boasts an impressive line of .367/.472/.900 in that span while collecting two doubles, one triple, four homers, six RBIs and four stolen bases in that span.
Freshman righty Seth Petry (1-1, 5.17 ERA) will take the mound in against the Buccaneers. In three midweek starts, he has tallied a victory to go along with a 3.09 ERA in 11.2 innings while having fanned eight along the way. In that span, Petry has also held opposing batters to a mere .122 batting average. Nick Wohlbold (0-1, 1.29 ERA) has been a vital piece to the UT Martin bullpen as he has racked up seven saves on the season in 21 innings pitched. He has recorded 29 strikeouts in that span while sporting a team-best 1.05 WHIP.
Christian Brothers (8-25) is led by Jared Cramer's .317 batting average, four doubles, one triple and a homer while his 14 RBIs are tied for the most on the team.
