
SKYHAWK WOMEN’S HOOPS HOST ANNUAL KID GAME AGAINST CHRISTIAN BROTHERS ON MONDAY

The University of Tennessee at Martin women's basketball team will return to action to close out the squad's homestand with a matchup against Division II foe Christian Brothers on Monday, Nov. 19. Tipoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. from the Elam Center.
The Skyhawks (3-1) enter the contest looking to remain perfect at home following an impressive overtime victory against Arkansas State on Saturday afternoon. In the contest, UT Martin saw three players score in double figures with sophomore Chelsey Perry (14.8 ppg) and junior Aundrea Adams (10.5 ppg) tallying season-highs with 21 points each. The duo was joined in double figures by freshman Damiah Griffin (10.5 ppg) with 12 points and six rebounds.
Christian Brothers (1-0) is a Division II program from the Gulf South Conference. While the game serves as an exhibition contest for the Lady Bucs, the team picked up a 76-73 overtime victory against LeMoyne-Owen in their most recent contest. The squad is led by three players in double figures in Kelsey Adkins (21.0 ppg), Kenzie Jones (20.0 ppg) and Rachel Lee (16.0 ppg).
Monday serves as the seventh matchup between the two programs in a series dating back to 1980.
