SKYHAWK MEN’S HOOPS SET TO HOST ST. LOUIS COLLEGE OF PHARMACY IN THURSDAY EXHIBITION

MARTIN, Tenn. – The 2018-19 University of Tennessee at Martin men's basketball team faces its own preseason tuneup this Thursday, Nov. 1 when it hosts the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in a 7:30 p.m. exhibition at the Kathleen and Tom Elam Center. Admission is free.
Head coach Anthony Stewart is in his third season in charge of the Skyhawk program, as UT Martin returns six players from 2017-18. A total of seven newcomers also join the fold this season as this season's roster consists of four seniors, six juniors and a trio of sophomores.
Redshirt senior forward Fatodd Lewis captured Preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference accolades after averaging 12.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest last season. Delfincko Bogan (OVC-best 1.9 steals per game in 2017-18), Jailen Gill (team-high 29 blocks last season) and Parrish Hewitt (four games of at least 15 points in 2017-18) also return. Kevin Little (Colorado State) and Preston Parks (The Citadel) will make their Skyhawk debuts after combining to score 1,226 points in 80 career games at previous Division I institutions.

UT Martin officially begins the 2018-19 campaign on Tuesday, Nov. 6 when it takes on in-state rival Cumberland. The game – which serves as the backend of a doubleheader with the Skyhawk women's team – will start at 7:30 p.m.
