Nealey Dalton is in her second season as a graduate assistant for the UT Martin rodeo program in 2018-19.
Dalton recently wrapped up her career as a student-athlete in 2017, as she was a four-year cowgirl for head coach John Luthi at UT Martin. She qualified for four consecutive College National Finals Rodeo appearances in barrel racing.
The Adamsville, Tenn. native ranked third in the Ozark Region in barrel racing points (500) during her senior campaign in 2016-17. She placed 36th nationally in barrel racing with a 48.70 at the CNFR, although she accumulated the seventh-most points (100) in the 52-participant field.
At the 2016 CNFR, Dalton registered her highest career finish as she placed 17th with an average score of 43.52 in barrel racing. She also finished 33rd at the CNFR as a sophomore (47.49 average, 40 total points) after coming in 48th with a 52.97 average in 2014.
Dalton is currently pursuing a graduate degree in agricultural and natural resources system management from UT Martin.
