Jonny Walker is in his first season as a student assistant coach for the UT Martin rodeo program.
Walker spent one season as a UT Martin cowboy, earning a trip to the College National Finals in 2018. He finished 13th in the nation in bareback riding with an average of 215.5 points at the event. He ranked second in the Ozark Region and 11th nationally with 1,000 points in the event throughout the 2017-18 campaign for head coach John Luthi.
A Wildersville, Tenn. native, Walker spent the first part of his collegiate career at Ranger College in Ranger, Texas.
Walker is currently pursuing a degree in agriculture at UT Martin.
